I’m soooo glad you’re here!
Sharing the teachings of yoga and mindfulness has been my passion (or dharma as we say in yoga) for over two decades now. Choosing with whom you will study is a big decision. I am sincerely grateful that you’ve dug this far to investigate my programs.
Here’s a brief overview of how I got here.
The journey to yoga can be as unique as each fingerprint. A university degree in business led me to entrepreneurship for several decades. It was during these stressful times of being a single mom and managing a rapidly growing small business that yoga became a life saver. Meditation, although very weird at the time, was the only period of the week that no one was grabbing for attention and all the problems just had to step aside. It was an unusual but refreshing feeling. The call to share the teachings got very strong and I listened.
In the following decades, I’ve become my own client many times. When my hip flexor became so painful I couldn’t teach, cycle or walk… I put myself on a plan. When my knee arthritis flared and a baker’s cyst developed… I put myself on a plan. I have degenerative discs, severe in L4-L5, and my neck looks a mess on an X-ray. I have mild scoliosis. I have rehabbed my torn rotator cuff. And so on. You don’t make it to my age without a few dents in the chassis as I always say. The point is… this stuff works.
