Getting a good night’s sleep is attractive to everyone.  Research has shown the importance of restorative sleep to our productivity and health.  But in today’s hectic world, it is often elusive to fall asleep or stay asleep.  The standard sleep hygiene advice works to a degree but many need further guidance and detail for their individual circumstance.

In this course, various yogic approaches for improving sleep are explored.  The most commonly mentioned favourite piece of the curriculum for participants is the knowledge that therapeutic rest can be as restorative, if not more so, than regular sleep.  This single bit of information often alleviates their anxiety so that they can ride the wave of sleeplessness with less stress.

Learn how to teach this four week protocol to your clients at yoga studios, in health care settings or in workplaces.  The course qualifies for 16 Continuing Education Credits for Yoga Alliance or the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
