Individual Yoga Therapy

Claim your life. Start moving again.

Yoga therapy liberates you from painful disillusions.

Yoga Therapy allows enhanced communication between you and Cheryl.  You’ll develop a personalized written plan that you will work on together.  The plan can be amended and explained thoroughly in this intimate format.

Your plan will include targeted physical movement specific to your goals for therapy.  Also, you’ll discuss lifestyle, breathing techniques, meditation practices and other aspects of yoga philosophy to help support your progress.  You’ll learn how to modify movement in a regular group exercise or yoga class to stay safe.

The key to your program success is practicing at home between sessions.  This is an essential part of the therapy.  Yoga therapy is about small changes but applied consistently and compassionately.  Homework might be just 20 minutes per day, or activities that are spread in small chunks throughout the day.  It has to be a program that fits with your current schedule.

Thank you Cheryl for your expertise and guidance during the small group yoga therapy.  I’ve taken a number of significant steps forward based on your very easy to implement recommendations.”

After my car accident, even with physio, I was still terrified to move incorrectly and make things worse.  I’ve started walking again with the dogs and my physio is thrilled with the movement in my spine.”
